West of Forever (Heartstone Ranch, 1)

🌶️ Spice Level: 7.5/10

Description:
Lark knows Tristan Stone is completely off limits. Their families have spent generations hating each other, and falling for the grumpy single dad and cowboy should be the last thing on her mind. But after Tristan helps her during a rainy roadside breakdown and their chemistry becomes impossible to ignore, Lark makes him an offer neither of them expects: a secret, no-strings-attached relationship. What begins as stolen nights and a promise to keep their feelings out of it soon becomes something much deeper. With rival families, forbidden romance, enemies-to-lovers tension, a single dad, small-town charm and plenty of chemistry, West of Forever is a steamy and emotional cowboy romance about two people who were never supposed to fall in love.

Reviews:
Readers have especially enjoyed the chemistry between Lark and Tristan, with their forbidden relationship, family rivalry and grumpy-meets-sunshine dynamic creating plenty of tension. Tristan's role as a single dad and Lark's relationship with his daughter have also been praised, while many readers enjoyed the banter, emotional vulnerability and mix of sweet and spicy moments. Some readers felt the family drama was overly complicated or that the characters spent too much time hiding their relationship, but overall the book has received a warm response and has been described as entertaining, emotional and addictive. It's a strong choice for readers who enjoy small-town cowboy romance with plenty of tension and a healthy amount of spice.
