Reviews:
Readers love the action, dragons, expanding fantasy world and the continued chemistry between Violet and Xaden. Many fans enjoy the emotional moments and bigger stakes, although some readers feel the pacing can be slower than the previous books and that there is more world-building and politics. The romance remains an important part of the story, with several spicy scenes, but the book is primarily an action-packed fantasy romance rather than a purely romance-focused read.
