Reviews:

Readers particularly love the chemistry and banter between Ophelia and Alex, with their hostile first encounters gradually developing into intense attraction and emotional connection. Alex's protective nature, emotional vulnerability and devotion to Ophelia are major highlights, while the gothic university setting and murder mystery give the romance a darker atmosphere. The book does contain on page open door spice, including several more detailed intimate moments, but the sexual content is relatively limited compared with the hotter books in your shop. Some readers found the spice surprisingly satisfying once the slow burn finally paid off, while others felt the scenes were too restrained and wanted more detail. The mystery, stalking storyline, friendships and emotional development remain much more important to the overall reading experience.
