Hooked

🌶️ Spice Level: 8/10
Description:
James has one goal: destroy Peter Michaels, the man who ruined his life. When Peter’s sheltered daughter, Wendy, walks into his bar, James sees the perfect opportunity for revenge. His plan is simple — seduce her, make her fall for him and use her as a pawn against her father. But Wendy is far more than the innocent girl James expects, and their intense attraction quickly complicates his carefully calculated scheme. As their relationship becomes increasingly addictive, Wendy discovers that the man she desires is hiding a dangerous world of secrets, violence and betrayal. Torn between the man she is falling for and the monster he might truly be, Wendy must decide whether love can survive when it begins with deception. A dark, contemporary reimagining of Peter Pan, Hooked delivers a brooding villain, forbidden attraction, obsessive desire and a revenge plot where falling for the wrong man could cost Wendy everything.
Reviews:
Readers praise Hooked for its addictive tension, dark atmosphere, morally grey hero and steamy romance. James’s ruthless determination and Wendy’s growing independence create a compelling push-and-pull dynamic, while the Peter Pan inspiration adds familiar fairytale elements with a sinister twist. Fans of villain romances enjoy the revenge plot and obsessive chemistry, although the toxic relationship dynamics and disturbing themes may not suit every reader.
