Reviews:
Readers have enjoyed the dramatic relationship between Alex and Ophelia, particularly the intense emotions, betrayal and complicated push-and-pull between them. The dark academia atmosphere, mystery and suspense add another layer to the romance, while fans of the first book appreciate getting more of the characters and their story. Some readers found the relationship frustrating at times and felt that certain parts of the plot or character development could have been explored more deeply. Overall, Daybreak is best suited to readers who enjoy angsty dark academia romance, complicated relationships, mystery and a good amount of spice, rather than a light-hearted romance.
