Big Bad Wolf: Exclusive Sprayed Edge

🌶️ Spice Level: 5/10

Description:

Ruby Bellerose lives in a cosy cottage on the edge of the woods in Maple Hollow, keeping to herself and avoiding the gossip that seems to follow everyone in the small town. Her quiet life changes when she has a chance encounter with Rafe, a mysterious and brooding woodsman who lives deep within the forest. Ruby is immediately intrigued by him, but Rafe is hiding secrets of his own, and there may be something dangerous lurking among the trees. As Ruby gets closer to the enigmatic stranger, she begins to question whether he could be the knight she has been waiting for or something much more dangerous. With small town romance, a mysterious hero, cosy rural setting, secrets, attraction and a touch of fairy tale atmosphere, Big Bad Wolf is a charming and slightly mysterious romance from Laurie Gilmore.

Reviews:

Readers enjoy the cosy Maple Hollow setting, the fairy tale inspired atmosphere and the chemistry between Ruby and Rafe. Rafe's mysterious personality and protective nature add intrigue, while Ruby brings warmth and curiosity to their relationship. There is definite sexual tension and some on page spice, but the intimate content is relatively limited compared with the hotter romances in your shop. The story is much more focused on the developing relationship, small town atmosphere, character interactions and the mystery surrounding Rafe and the woods. This makes it a good choice for readers who want a romance with some heat without the story being centred around sexual content.
